O.k. well I'll have to reply later as I don't have much time now. I'm kind of mixed about Tania's pics.

In the early days of photography only a few had the knowledge, skill or equipment to be able to produce photographs. Today, it seems that just about everyone has access to a camera, even if perhaps that camera is nothing more than a feature on a cell phone. Although it may be easy to produce a photograph, creating one that scores high is something entirely different. Knowing what to look for can help in improving a persons creations.

Now in all sincerity this is not to be a debate about the use of Photoshop, comparing digital exposures to that of film, the use of color as opposed to black and white but rather its just me giving a critique of photos. Nothing more nothing less.


Let me state that I will have a bias to those that use or do not use photo enhancing programs plus I know a bit about photography. I studied it in university before going into other avenues and can tell when something has been changed and ....a BIG AND I have 2 programs that can literally tell me if a photo has been chopped ...diced....discolored...etc etc but I won't stress too too much about manipulation as it is found everywhere.

All right then.

Tania's main pic. The sharpness of her image is incredible , a little enhanced but still incredible. Overall a very detailed look especially the clarity of her face Nice contrast in how she breaks away from the background. Colors are ok, could've been a tad lighter. Overall this shot has got a peaceful tone. The background for me is a bit of a toss up. If the entire background was white then that would've been fantastic. That brown line is a tad distracting. Those "stars" are ok but a full tight corset would've worked also among other things.

Now considering that I loooooooooooove T Women and this is a shot of Tania what can I say? It's Tania!

Here's a secret boys and girls. It matters if a photo makes you emotional. If whatever you see makes you mad or sad or glad then that in itself says that its spoken to you some way and thats what photographers and those who are in the shots want to know and do , that somehow they got to you inside.

So much analysis for a photo right? Well I think it's valid. A photo is an extension of a person you know.

Overall - I'm saying right now it's one of the top pictures that I've seen of the girls It is also a photo that is not going to be easy for other ladies to top. Modern day diva girl for sure.


Tania has posted up other shots that I may get around too. One in particular kinda grabs me. Now I would hope that Tania responds to my critique before I get into that.

Then there are other photos she has that are, well, um, just not as remarkable for my taste.

Here's a thought. I would sooooooo enjoy writing critiques for girls about their photos. Perhaps you could say that this could turn into another type of review board here on the forums.

Photoshopped or not, does it matter?

Every magazine picture, even most personal digital shots are photoshopped so I don't really care if these are or not.

No matter how you look at it, she looks incredible.
